this is one confussed reader. This book couldnt decide what it was about. it ranged all over from animal care, grief , archery, tennagers with anorexia, murder mystery and synithstia. I found it a little to disjointed with not enough wrap up.

I could hardly put the book down! If you like dogs and a good character study, this one is for you. A new widow, Rocky, (Roxanne), not yet able to digest the fact that she's alone, makes a new start in a new place with a new job. Try as she might, things don't go smoothly, perhaps because she won't let anyone close.A lovable dog who needs help enters her life, taking the focus off of herself. See what happens as people enter Rocky's life, both in the dog's interest and in hers. Finally able to vocalize her hurt, Rocky must come to terms with her life now. A winner!

Good book! I had to grab the Kleenex a few times. It is a really heartfelt read.
