Jessica (USA: PA) (2008/06/29): I wasn't overly impressed with this story. It seemed repetitive and the ending was lacking. Mary Ellen (USA: VA) (2009/01/05): I liked it, but there really was not much of a twist in the plot - it was rather predictable. Also, I don't really like books with a story within the story. Characters were well developed and generally it was a feel-good read. Barbara (USA: IL) (2009/11/10): I really liked the story line. If you haven't read any of Anita Shreve's books, be sure to give this one a try. This is my second Anita Shreve book and I am looking forward to reading another one.
