I have not read many Piers Anthony books. I believe 6 is the total, but out of the six, I loved them all. The Mode series is part of that six. A group trying to make it back Darius' world. They have to travel thru parallel universes to get there. Meeting various obstacles along the way will make you not want to put this book down.
