Kellie (USA: NC) (2007/05/19): This is one of the best books I have ever read. The older folks in this book are the characters from The Notebook. A middle age man feels really bad he forgets his wedding anniversary. And he thinks his wife has started to fall out of love with him. So he decides to change. In the mean time, there is a wedding being planned. One of their daughters decides to get married in a very short amount of time at the old homestead. The man has a wonderful relationship with his father-in-law (Noah) who thinks a swan he feeds at the nursing home is his wife reincarnated. There are special surprises at the end and the emotion is incredible. This is my favorite Spark's book. Amy May (USA: WI) (2007/05/30): This was my favorite Nicholas Sparks books, I don't love them all but this one was GREAT. Jenn (USA: VA) (2009/01/15): I agree with another review posted on BookMooch. This is probably one of the best books I have ever read. I also enjoy reading Nicholas Sparks - I read so many different types of books, but THIS one will wow you.
