Christina (USA) (2011/01/27): A Walk to Remember is an absolutely beautiful story. It is a quick and easy read, and one that will definitely have you in tears as you read it. Nicholas Sparks does an amazing job of engaging the reader. As I read this novel, I felt connected to the characters. I was a citizen of Beaufort in the 1950s. I attended the Christmas play. I went to Landon and Jamie's wedding. I, too, prayed with Landon for the miracle, but knew it wasn't about to happen. A Walk to Remember is such a fluid story. Time goes by quickly, but one never feels rushed. Sparks' transitions are error-free. Like Landon, I wish I had more time to spend with Jamie. But if the book were any longer, it would have removed the special quality that this young couple shared. I definitely recommend reading A Walk to Remember. It's about love, family, and decisions. If you want an easy read, a romance novel, a good cry, or all of the above, you will find it in this book.
Shelly Dechert (USA: NJ) (2013/01/31): My all time favorite Nicholas Sparks book. Such a beautifully sad story. Landon & Jamie were just adorable. I've never cried so much while reading a book as I did with this one.
