foggylady99 (USA: AL) (2008/06/23): Ok, the movie was funny. It too is a classic. The book, however, is stunningly brilliant and unfortunately becomes more germane as each succession of governments forgets the lessons of ...well, Catch 22. Read it. Consider it a survivor's manual.
Kate (USA: MO) (2009/05/09): I don't know what's wrong with me. My dad loved this book; thought it was the funniest thing ever. I read 100 pages of it and just didn't get it and found little of it even humorous. It's so repetitive and confusing. Guess I just don't understand. I like to think of myself as a student of fiction, but maybe not. Anyway, whoever wants this book can have it with my blessings!
Julia (Canada) (2009/07/13): Starts out like a farce, but gets considerably better and more touching towards the end. Unlike any other book I've ever read.
