Mary Ann Thérèse (USA: NY) (2008/04/13): The owners manual for your newborn baby. A valuable reference for everything, month by month.
♥princessjulia♥ (USA: DE) (2008/06/09): This is a MUST READ for every new Mother. This book saved my life (and probably my daughters' many times)!
Ana (Mexico) (2008/08/21): Very good condition, no longer useful for me
Bridgette (USA: IA) (2010/08/15): I actually disliked this book immensely. It's very biased toward a parenting style I don't agree with. It is somewhat useful for the milestones at the beginning of each chapter, but the author's views on pacifiers, cry it out, co-sleeping/sharing a room, weaning, introduction of solids...pretty much everything...are not something I agree with.
AnnaLE (USA: MI) (2011/04/14): Not my cuppa- I don't have a child yet, but the book gives advice on circumcision, diapers, etc., that goes against my 'peaceful parenting' / 'intactivist' / 'crunchy-granola' beliefs. Conventional wisdom, might be useful to someone who can look past or does not have these issues.
John (USA: CO) (2011/07/22): This and all the "What to Expect" books are full of assumptions and generalizations about parents and children, scare tactics, and limited perspective. This makes a good prop for that wobbly table, or acquire several copies from friends and glue them into a booster seat. The books are more useful that way.
