Nowadays, Agatha has little time for the rural activities she used to be so passionately involved with: charity work, baking competition, and the Carsley Ladies Society. But she soon takes notice when, in the quiet nearby village of St Twadey, tragedy strikes at the annual jam making competition. Someone has spiked the preserves with LSD! Mayhem ensues as the judges react like wasps in a jam jar, and one or two of the frailer reisdents take a fatal trip.
Of course the yough of the village are the first to be suspected, and any who have criminal records. But only blundering Agatha with her odd flashes of intuition would ever suspect one of the pillars of the local community. Her unorthodox detective skills might be just what's needed to get St Twady out of a very sticky situation...
